AKS is a friendly school where young people settle in quickly and enjoy their secondary education. More than just a place of study however, AKS is an inclusive and caring community, with a huge range of opportunities. Life in the Senior School is busy and challenging, but very rewarding.
We present our pupils with excellent learning opportunities and encourage them to achieve their full potential in all areas of school life. Their progress is carefully monitored and extra help is given when required. As pupils mature, we inspire them to develop a personal love of learning as they become increasingly independent. Our pupils will experience a broad and balanced academic curriculum and a rich extra-curricular programme, which will enable them to move on to further studies or work with confidence. Class sizes are deliberately kept small, to ensure an extremely favourable pupil/teacher ratio.
An 'AKS education' provides each pupil with self-worth and a strong sense of responsibility. The emphasis that we place on the welfare of each child ensures that our pupils are happy and friendly individuals, who are at ease with themselves and in the company of others. Our pastoral care is second to none.
Ours is a very warm, friendly and successful community, and I would be delighted to show it to you and your family. Come and meet our staff, and talk to our wonderful pupils. To arrange a visit, please contact the Admissions Secretary, Liz Wyatt, on 01253 784100 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange a tour or a 'taster day'. We look forward to meeting you.
