Reception class visit the Kitchen
As part of our continuing topic on People Who Help Us, the Reception children enjoyed an exciting visit to see Ellie in the school kitchen. Ellie is one of our Junior School chefs. Lots of interesting questions were asked by the children;
Noah asked: “What is that big box up there?” It was the extractor fan.
Will asked: “What goes in those big jugs?” “Why do you have 2 sinks?”
The children were invited to visit the kitchen to see where their dinner gets cooked. They were fascinated by the giant walk-in fridge, the size of the dish washer, the amount of food in the store cupboard, especially the giant tins of food, the tall freezer where we had kept our icebergs and the huge food mixer.
Many thanks to Ellie for letting us visit the school kitchen. We are now all looking forward to our next visit to the Lytham Dental Clinic.
