The results of the LAMDA examinations that took place in the Autumn Term have been awarded and the results are outstanding with 88% of pupils passing with distinction. Congratulations to Joshua T for all his hard work and determination in achieving a distinction for his Silver Medal, also to Amelie C for gaining 100% in her Introductory Stage 2 examination.
“I would personally like to congratulate everyone … this is an incredible achievement. I am so incredibly proud of all the Speech and Drama pupils, all the hard work and dedication certainly paid off!” Elaine Bennett, Speech and Drama Teacher.
Taking LAMDA lessons provides another opportunity at AKS to develop the life skills needed to be successful; attributes such as self-confidence, the ability to communicate clearly and developing performance skills whilst gaining an enormous sense of achievement and empowerment. This was evident at the recent Teatime Concert in Music with pupils performing festive readings with such confidence and impeccable comic timing! Well done to Sam C, Yasmin L, Elliot G, Sam T, Edward T, Miranda A and Meghna S.
We have a small number of places available so if your son/daughter would like to enrol for speech and drama lessons please contact email@example.com for more details.
